The launch of the National Initiative for Local Administration Development comes in alignment with the directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq - may Allah protect and preserve him - and His Majesty's interest in developing the governorates. The initiative is designed as a sustainable qualification pathway, implemented in collaboration with global experts. The Royal Academy of Management has considered local legislative frameworks and best international practices in designing the initiative, with a gradual implementation process starting with governors and then with regional officials.
