In embodiment of the vision of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq – may God protect and preserve him – to develop national leaders with renewed capabilities and skills in alignment with the national targets of Oman Vision 2040, and continuing with the strategic programs and initiatives for the year 2024, the Royal Academy of Management has launched the "Future Leaders" program. This program aims to discover talents and enhance and empower the community of future young leaders from both the public and private sectors.

The "Future Leaders" program is part of the initiatives and programs executed by the Royal Academy of Management during the current year 2024, aiming to empower a group of young Omani leaders in both the public and private sectors for the future. The program seeks to create a learning environment that fosters the development of their talents and leadership skills. It is designed to prepare second-tier leaders to be ready for higher levels of leadership in the near future. The different learning modules will focus on applying the best international practical practices to achieve the program's goals.

The program targets 50 participants who have at least 3 years of work experience and are under 34 years old, including employees of small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, and freelancers. The program will consist of three in-person modules and three talent labs over 6 months, starting from June and running until December.

The learning journey in the program includes three modules focused on developing and enhancing future skills among participants, starting with the "Discover" module, followed by "Predict," and concluding with "Leadership," along with the talent labs.

The program is expected to achieve several outcomes, including understanding fundamental leadership principles and enhancing participants' self-awareness, improving collaborative relationships among them, developing strategies to overcome challenges, enhancing creative problem-solving skills, fostering a culture of innovation within teams and organizations, adopting innovative problem-solving methods, preparing for the future, and making a positive impact on communities.

It is worth noting that applications for the program will be open to Omani youth – both male and female – who meet the requirements, through the Royal Academy of Management's official website and its various social media platforms.
