The Royal Academy of Management was established by Royal Decree (2/2022), issued on the 8th of Jumada al-Thani, 1443 AH.
corresponding to January 11, 2022. According to the Royal Decree, the Academy enjoys the honorary patronage of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq – may God protect him.
The Academy focuses on preparing and developing Omani talent in both the public and private sectors in line with the new economy pathways. Its goal is to enhance the administrative efficiency of employees in these sectors by providing them with knowledge, skills, and modern management concepts through its centers, programs, and initiatives. The Academy adopts modern learning tools and methods, and collaborates with global institutions and local partnerships to equip both sectors with empowered leadership and qualified competencies to contribute to achieving the goals and opportunities of Oman Vision 2040.
In line with the high-level directives regarding leadership and management priorities in the future vision of Oman, the Academy offers a range of developmental, specialized, and academic programs through four specialized centers. These programs target current and future leaders in both the public and private sectors. The four centers and their program specialties are as follows:

The requirements for joining the Academy's programs vary depending on the specific program, its nature, target audience, objectives, duration, and other factors. You can review the registration criteria for each program when it is announced.
Applications for the Academy's programs can be submitted through three main methods:
It depends on the requirements of each program. If a program requires partial or full release from work, the Academy will clarify this in an official communication and coordinate with the participant's employer.
The launch dates of the programs and initiatives offered by the Academy’s centers can be found on its official website or by following its pages on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
The Academy offers all programs and initiatives to participants at no cost (with the requirement to attach a service certificate confirming this when filling out the application).
The Academy focuses on national talents at this stage to achieve its primary goal of developing current Omani administrative leaders and preparing promising leaders in both the public and private sectors.
Applicants can join different programs within the series of programs offered by the Academy's four centers if they are not selected for the program they initially applied for.
The academy's programs are delivered in both Arabic and English, depending on the requirements of each program.
To maximize the benefit from the programs, applicants cannot participate in more than one program at the same time.
The learning method is determined according to the requirements and conditions of the programs applied for. Some programs can be attended remotely, in a blended format, or in-person, as specified when the program is launched.
All programs of the academy are designed with high international standards and modern, innovative learning methods, so that program graduates receive various certificates depending on the nature of the program they enrolled in.
The Academy's initiatives and programs are of a high level and are developed in collaboration with global institutions specializing in leadership and management, as well as local partnerships. Therefore, they provide added value to beneficiaries and their professional paths through initiatives and programs that empower them with modern management practices, develop their leadership and managerial skills and knowledge, and equip them with innovative practices to foster a culture of competence, productivity, and innovation.
The Academy's programs contribute to preparing future leaders by aligning with today's needs and future aspirations, enhancing their competence, and providing graduates with a competitive edge that qualifies them to compete for leadership positions in senior roles within both the public and private sectors.
The Academy designs and implements its initiatives and programs in collaboration with international institutions specialized in leadership and management, as well as through local partnerships.
