The National Leadership Development Program for Empowering Omani Middle Management in the Private Sector "I'timad"

Overview

The “I’daad” program relies on modern learning methods, including specialized coaching training, practical workshops using simulation techniques, distance learning, as well as leader meetings and group learning projects. The program is implemented in collaboration with several leading global institutions specialized in government work and public service.

Target Audience and Eligibility Criteria

  • Middle management in the private sector (Manager, Head of Department, and those in equivalent positions).
  • The applicant must hold at least a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Entrepreneurs should have at least a higher diploma.
  • The applicant must hold at least a bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Entrepreneurs should have at least a higher diploma.
  • At least seven (7) years of work experience, including at least three (3) years in a leadership position.
  • Must have middle management experience, such as managing a department or team.
  • Proficiency in English at an advanced level (both spoken and written).
  • The applicant's data must be registered with the Ministry of Labor.
  • The entrepreneur must be registered with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority.
  • Previous applicants to the program who did not join the previous cohorts are eligible to apply.
  • The applicant's age must not exceed 45 years.

Important Dates

The program duration is 7 months.
