The National CEO Program
Overview
The implementation of the National Program for Executives aligns with the mission of the Royal Academy of Management, which aims to prepare promising national leaders in both the public and private sectors in line with Oman’s Vision 2040 and future needs to address rapid global changes. This contributes to enhancing the economic system in achieving Oman’s five-year plan towards a resilient and sustainable economy.

Individual Level: Developing leadership skills in participants that enable them to inspire the next generation in leading the private sector.

Target Audience and Eligibility Criteria
- Executive Leaders in the Private Sector
- Must hold at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- The applicant must be at least 32 years old.
- Must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant managerial and leadership experience (experience should include project management, revenue management, budgeting, and team management).
- Applicants must apply to the program using their official position, which consumes more than 80% of their total time and for which they receive a full-time salary.
- If two or more individuals with direct family relationships apply, only one will be accepted based on merit.
- Applicants who have previously graduated from national programs (previous cohorts of the National Executive Leaders Program, the National Leadership and Competitiveness Program, the National Program for Developing Executive Leadership in both the public and private sectors) will not be accepted.
- Must obtain written approval from their direct supervisor (CEO or Board of Directors) to participate in and attend the program's educational units.
- Applicants from the private sector must hold one of the following positions: Executive Director of a small or medium-sized enterprise, a position directly below executive management in a medium or large enterprise, or a position two levels below executive management in a very large enterprise.
Important Dates
8 months, including 5 educational units that cover cognitive learning, experiential learning, and individual leadership coaching.
